Downtown shopping

Met Ivan the Russian today, he once lived in Halifax (UK), and bought a snowboard from him. Then we went to Poubelle Ski and got some snowboard boots, it was crazy busy in there as everyone was getting kitted out for the season. We also did a bit of Christmas shopping downtown, it wasn't that busy considering how close to Christmas it is. I suppose I'm just used to the madness of Nottingham weekend shopping this time of year.

Haven't tried the snowboard out yet but Rigaud Mountain Ski centre was open for the weekend. Maybe next week I will get a chance. After the 15th you can ski there at night as well which might be fun. No more snow for the moment although there is plenty left on the ground. It was a balmy -7 and sunny today.
